Eggs, Avo, Feta Cheese

Anyone who knows me, knows I'm not a morning person. But I know how important a good quality breakfast is. So I set out to make a super easy, super healthy breakfast that takes me no longer than 5-10mins to make.

When I'm maintaining weight or trying to cut fat, I've been using a high protein, high fat, low carb breakfast and it works well for my body type. I came up with this Eggs and avocado recipe for mornings that call for a quick recipe packed with flavours and clean ingredients. If you're looking to lose fat or maintain weight this is for you. Even if you're trying to gain muscle you can use the same ingredients but add more carbs to it. Be creative, maybe bake some home fries or eat some fruit after the meal.

Everything in this recipe is unprocessed, great quality protein and fat (minus the ketchup which is optional, but you can find minimally processed ketchup).

Recipe

Ingredients:

3-4 Whole Eggs

Half a ripe Avocado

2 Tablespoons Goat Cheese or Feta

Olive Oil or Coconut Oil

Ground Black Pepper

Optional Condiments that taste amazing: Ketchup, hot sauce, salsa (or read this post for more options)

Steps:

Put Olive or Coconut Oil in pan and heat it

Crack eggs into pan, Sunny Side up is a great option or cook your eggs however you prefer

Cut Avocado in half and then in slices

Put eggs on plate and add the avocado, goat cheese/feta, black pepper, condiments
